Trojan Malware Hidden in Cracked Software Downloads

Pirated or cracked software downloads remain one of the most common methods used to distribute trojan malware. Attackers upload modified versions of popular paid software to file-sharing sites or forums. When users download and install these programs, the trojan runs silently in the background, stealing personal data, browser passwords, and financial information. In some cases, the malware also installs additional threats such as spyware or ransomware.
