Cybercriminals are using stolen browser session cookies to bypass login authentication and gain access to Facebook accounts. Instead of stealing passwords directly, attackers capture authentication cookies from infected devices or compromised browsers. These cookies allow them to impersonate the user without needing to log in again. Once inside the account, attackers may send phishing messages to contacts, promote scams, or lock the original owner out of the account.
